Posts like these are not very common.
But I had to do it even as a reminder.
It is when you fill the vacuum of hunger in you that you can fill the rest of the Vacuum.
Hunger is not something anybody enjoys. When you are hungry, even your mood can change. You might become angry over something that would not normally bother you. Sometimes, you may not even have the strength to do the things you want to do because all you can think about is food.
But there is a difference between being hungry because you have not eaten for a few hours and being hungry because you have nothing to eat.
Imagine coming back from work after a long day. You are tired, your body needs rest, and your stomach is making all kinds of noise. You enter the kitchen, hoping to find something to eat, only to discover that there is nothing there. You check the pot, open the cupboard, and look around as if food might suddenly appear from somewhere. Unfortunately, nothing changes. The kitchen is still empty.
You might laugh at the situation if it happens once, but when it becomes a regular experience, it is no longer funny.
Hunger can make people do things they never imagined they would do. A person who has enough food may not understand why someone else is willing to work for very little money just to get something to eat. When your stomach is full, it is easy to tell people to be patient, work hard, and wait for better opportunities. But when you have not eaten since morning, those words may not mean much to you.
Even students experience this problem. Some students go to school without eating breakfast. They sit in class and try to concentrate on what the teacher is saying, but their minds keep going back to food. Others return home after school and have nothing to eat until later in the evening. People may look at them and assume they are lazy or unserious, without knowing what they are going through.
What makes hunger more painful is that food is a basic human need. Nobody should have to feel ashamed because they cannot afford a meal. Unfortunately, some people hide their situation because they do not want others to know that they are struggling.
I believe we should learn to treat people with kindness, especially when we do not know what they are facing. That person who seems quiet might be worried about where their next meal will come from. The person who refuses to join others for lunch might not have money to buy food. We cannot know everyone's situation simply by looking at them.
At the same time, we should not pretend that kindness alone can solve hunger. People need opportunities to earn money, farmers need support to produce food, and families need to be able to afford the things they depend on every day. Telling a hungry person to remain hopeful does not fill an empty stomach.
Hunger has a way of reminding us how important the things we sometimes take for granted really are. A plate of food may look ordinary to one person, but to another, it can mean the difference between going to bed hungry and sleeping with some peace of mind.
we do not need to do something extraordinary to help someone. Sharing a meal, offering food to a struggling neighbor, or helping a person who genuinely needs assistance may seem like a small act, but it can mean a lot to the person receiving it.
