George is a newcomer. He's very intelligent, but he disguises himself as the dumbest kid in his class. His classmates mock him and stuff like that.
But I myself didn't actually know why he is doing that. When the teacher asks a question in the class, George will not raise his hand, and when the teacher specifically asks him, he pretends he has no idea, whereas he does. These have been going on for three months.
A competition came in, and George's school was known for their past wins. They are never beaten by any school.
In the past competition, the school chose their representative, but this time, the rules changed. Only the organization will randomly choose the contestants in each school.
THIS was actually a plan conspired by other schools to get George's school to fail. On the day of selection in George's school, George decided he wouldn't come to school, but his mother wouldn't allow it. He came.
One student is selected per class, and George was selected in his class.
It was quite obvious that the slow learners were the ones picked in each class. The question is, how did they know? Maybe there's a leakage somewhere.
George wasn't happy about this at all. His mother would be counting on him that day, and he wouldn't want to expose how intelligent he is. Now what!
The day of the competition came. It is a spelling bee.
The contestants are lined up and asked to spell certain words in an ordered arrangement.
The four students from George's school came out and messed up in their first round, so they are out, along with a couple of other students who failed.
NOW the hope of a winning school lies in the hands of an obviously dumb kid.
He didn't know what to do, and when he looked towards his mother, she was smiling because she knows what her child is capable of.
He decided to let go of the pretense and spelled every word he was asked to spell.
At the end of the day, George wins the competition, and everyone was amazed
