Sitting the whole day and spending time at my table and computer for 8 hours or more doing clerical works every day of my life is really not easy at all. Especially if it concerns my health. That can result back pain, neck pain, arm pain, shoulder pain and any other parts of our body can be painful when you are sitting the whole day.
Year 2009 when I first diagnosed having a multiple Myoma. I was bleeding for 1 whole year and I suffered a lot due to this Myoma in my uterus. I undergone operation for 2 times, that was September 2009 and the next one was in December 2009. Years have passed and I gave birth to my child, I thought I was okay and not suffering anymore from this illness but I was wrong. Since 2009, the roots of my multiple Myomas were there in my uterus.
Year 2011, I started bleeding again because the Myoma were getting bigger and bigger. It was a non-stop bleeding. I remembered when my doctor says, “don’t you know that you are dying already? but you are so strong that you can still walk and move normally.” I was not even aware then that my hemoglobin dropped to 52 whereas the normal hemoglobin for women is 112 to 115. I was immediately admitted to the hospital and had this blood transfusion (3 bags of blood). I had to undergo operation and removed my uterus. After my operation, I gained weight very fast due to the antibiotic that have injected into my body.
My finess journey started here. I thought of myself, having a healthy lifestyle. First thing I did was to research on how to lose weight and live healthy. Through the help of our friendly Google, I managed to get those guides, information, recipes, and the right ways to stay fit and healthy. I told myself that I need and I have to do it. I was so determined that I started with juicing for 7 days. Yes, 7 days straight without eating any solid food except juice. It wasn’t easy at first but I did it. And wow, I saw the changes in my body so I really get motivated. I started going to the gym, running, hiking and HIIT, everything that makes me sweat. Then, I slowly cleaned my kitchen. I stopped eating rice, processed food and anything with sugar. I replaced it with real food like sweet potato, plantain, green vegetable, fruits and any unprocessed food. I learned that breakfast is the most important meal so I don’t skip it. When I wake up in the morning, I always drink warm water with a mixture of squeezed half lemon, 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and a tsp of honey and my healthy breakfast of 2 eggs and 2 bananas with of course my brewed coffee (No sugar, no creamer) will follow.
Well, thanks to Google, it really helps me searched the right way of living healthy and staying fit. Basically it says start with your eating habit first and then incorporate some exercise and you will see better result. Remember this, to keep us healthy it is 80% eating real food and 20% exercise. So even you stay in the gym the whole day but if you do not change your eating habit you are only wasting your time. I don’t recommend staying away and depriving you from eating those processed food but as much as possible limit yourself. Go for real food and you will see the difference. Leaving a healthy lifestyle is not easy especially when your love for food is there. It is just a matter of self-discipline and determination. Keep moving and don’t make any excuse because you can do some exercises even at home.
I am not dieting here. My aim is not to be sexy at all. I just want to be healthy and stay fit.
Love yourself first. That’s it!!
