Behold your house is left unto you desolate. Matthew 23:38
House: church, family, human body, descendants.
Desolate: bleak, dismal, empty, deserted, desert. abandoned.
None of the above words in desolate are pleasant but this is the spiritual condition of many that are not part of Jesus's family. The condition of my house effects those that are the closest to me and in turn expands. Sometimes we might not realize how what we say and/or do effects the world around us. God help us all.
