Every morning Buffy is the one that wakes me up, specially when it's late but the good thing about going back to home office is that I just have to move to the computer and I'm ready to work.
Lo bueno es que puedo pasar casi todo el día con mis gatas Whisky y Buffy, y mi tortuga Torta, pero ella siempre duerme en invierno así que está escondida por alguna parte.
Cada mañana Buffy es la que me despierta, especialmente cuando es tarde pero lo bueno de volver al trabajo en casa es que solo me tengo que mover a la computadora y estoy lista para el trabajo.
We follow a routine, they make sure I leave the bed, they wait for me outside the bathroom, or sometimes inside because I don't close the door... why would I? I live alone just with them and they know that when I get out of the bathroom it's time to eat, they call me to their bowls and I grab something to eat too before heading straight to my desk to work.
Once there, Whisky is the first one that always comes to my side, even I have a chair for her next to me, she sleeps there besides me and if she wants to she jumps to sleep over my lap, I love it when she does that.
Seguimos una rutina, ellas se aseguran de que salga de la cama, me esperan fuera del baño, o a veces dentro porque no cierro la puerta... ¿por qué lo haría? vivo sola con ellas y saben que cuando salgo del baño es hora de comer, me llaman hasta llegar a sus tazones y tomo algo para comer también antes de ir directo a mi escritorio.
Una vez ahí, Whisky es la primera que siempre viene a mi lado, hasta tengo una silla para ella junto a mi, se duerme en ella y si quiere salta a dormir sobre mi regazo, amo cuando hace eso.
There's times when Buffy jumps to my lap as well, when they're both over me it's kinda difficult to reach for the keyboard and mouse to keep working but I don't have the heart to place them away, besides, it's cold so they keep me warm 😁.
Hay ocasiones en que Buffy salta a mi regazo también, cuando ambas están sobre mi es algo complicado alcanzar el teclado y mouse para seguir trabajando pero no tengo el corazón para quitarlas, además, hace frío así que me mantienen caliente 😁
I spend hours in front of the computer, when I finish work I stay there watching videos or movies or just going through social media to see what's up but both Whisky and Buffy stay there in the room with me all the time, they just leave to eat or to to their litter box but always come back to watch me sit like a zombie watching the screen.
Paso horas frente a la computadora, cuando termino el trabajo me quedo viendo videos o películas o solo viendo las redes sociales a ver qué hay de nuevo pero ambas Whisky y Buffy se quedan en el cuarto conmigo todo el tiempo, solo se van para comer o a su arenero pero siempre regresan a verme sentada como zombie mirando la pantalla.
When I leave my "office" I go to the living room and they follow, that's when they start to play with whatever toy I get for them, but as usual they prefer playing with boxes or even wrappers they find somewhere over a counter when I don't drop them immediately.
Cuando salgo de mi "oficina" voy a la sala y ellas me siguen, es entonces cuando comienzan a jugar con cualquier juguete que les compro, pero usualmente prefieren jugar con cajas o envolturas que encuentran sobre mesas cuando no las tiro inmediatamente.
And well, that's the bright side of going back to work from home, at least I don't have to spend all time alone, they distract me long enough to make work seem lighter.
Also, since today there's no work to be done, we were able to stay on bed for a long time just watching tv 🤣.
Y bueno, ese es el lado positivo de volver a trabajar en casa, al menos no tengo que pasar tanto tiempo sola, ellas me distraen lo suficiente para hacer que el trabajo se aligere.
Y aparte, como hoy no hay trabajo por hacer, pudimos quedarnos en cama por un buen rato viendo tv 🤣.
