St. Charles school was a primary school located around where I lived, so typically I had to attend the school during my childhood days. We were all kids back then who loved playing around and This St. Charles school didn't have much playground equipment to keep us happy and entertained. There was no swing, slide and their likes for this was actually a local school that just started. Break periods were spent just running around playing tag and other random games. After few months of we all crying that we wanted a swing in the school, the school management finally heard our cries.
There was a change during break periods, it was more noisy and lovely. Every kid wanted to have his own time on the swing. I can't say if it was a low quality swing that was purchased or that the strain on it was much from daily usage because the swing got damaged pretty early. I pity the girl who broke her leg after flying of the swing in mid air after the chain connecting the seat to the frame broke. Since that incident, I've always been skeptical about swings.
