Miguel grew up in a boxing family and as a matter of fact, even his grandfather and great grandfather were boxers. His father had always taught him that when faced with a situation, he should swing first then think later.

One day on his way to school, he witnessed a fight between guys and he thought of stepping in to resolve the issue. However, unexpectedly one of the fighters landed a blow on his face and like his father had advised, he returned the punch and landed on his own back. He was eventually able to resolve the issue.

He got to school quite late due to this but every other thing for the day went as planned. But on his way home something happened, he witnessed a fight between two girls and it was very heated. As usual for him, he tried to step in to diffuse the situation but unlucky for him, one of the girls was someone he had a crush on. Immediately he noticed she was the one, he became confused and the funny thing is that she was not aware of his feelings for her.

During the fight, she mistakenly landed a punch on his face but for the very first time he had what we call the broken swing because his punch did not land or move. It was at this moment he came to question everything he was taught. He now realized that it's not every time he needs to swing before thinking.
