It's been long since new cards came to the game, but Rebellion is just around the corner! There's a ton of novelties in this set: new abilities, dual-splinter summoners, and some tweaks that will surely bring an incredible diversity of newer strategies!
And since I have access to the mavericks server, though I could give you a peak of what's to come:
- Summoners
Prepare for a host of summoners in this set!
11 new summoners! 5 dual-splinter summoners, and 5 summoners (one for each splinter, excepting dragon) where you can choose right before the battle starts, to buff some cards/debuff some of the opposite team. Dragon splinter will have one of these new summoners, and given that he can buff 1 or 2 of your cards with one of the new abilities, it's likely to be a very interesting card to use!
- Legendary cards
14 new legendary cards (including the dragon summoner, which is also a legendary card)
A lot of them have some of the new abilities, and one of the things that stood out is the fact that we have legendaries with low mana cap. Just look at this dragon: ranged and magic reflect, and 10 health for only 4 mana!
You want more examples of awesomness? How about an epic sneak card with two different attacks?
I guess you can already see how different will the gameplay be in a very near future, right? I'm lacking the time to a proper exploration of all the new cards, but truth is, they will be here in the blink of an eye. How exciting are these times?
