I don't think there's any doubt about it: the more knowledge you have, the more focused you are on your goals, the better you feel phisically and mentally.. the better chances you have on life going your way. Yet, we sometimes forget to take the time to focus on ourselves.
I've started getting interested in cryptocurrencies around 2017, and yet, I still feel I'm kind of watching the boat sail... and I'm not on it; with so many things happening, new projects, new possibilities, it's hard to keep up! It's not that I haven't invested, or gained knowledge, but do feel I could do better. And so, these are going to be my next investments in the coming days:
Knowledge is power. I'm not assuming these books are going to change my life, but do hope to gain some insights on those topics, something that will help me improve. And will start with the classic one from Mark Douglas, on trading mentality. I'm learning the hard way that trading is not that easy, and although I'm more or less on the break even, I think I've done all the dumb shit there is to do:
- Fomoing? Done
- Buying high, selling low? Yep
- Panic sell? Sure, that too
- Waiting for the dip that never comes? Check!
All of those are not a direct result of lack of knowledge, and are way more related to the mentality in approaching the market; and that's why I'm really curious in seeing whatt's inside that book!
The second one, is also a classic, and about probably one of my biggest flaws: procastination. I'm not a lazy guy, but do have the tendency of leaving for after tomorrow what I should be doing... today!
Time to stop thinking and planning, and start taking action; without it, nothing is actually acomplished. No more procrastination for now, because the reading starts... yesterday!
