I'm trying out a part from the Android app now. Installed and opened well, login was easy peasy. My main complaint so far is that the app is REALLY slow, maybe just needs some time to get cozy in the cache. Refreshes on notifications seem to have a significant lag.
Keep in mind I'm using an LG Rebel 4, a $40 dollar Wal-Mart phone that is a great deal for the price, but is what it is. The app was really lightweight though, I think it was just a 14MB download, so it seems like it should clock some better speed.
Still, if this posts, it couldhelp me out a lot with getting posts out during my work season, this part of the app seems like a huge improvement over trying to post to hive.blog or peakd with Firefox on a low end Android mobile phone.
Anyway, it's a real live Android (and every other OS as far as I know) native front-end for Hive, the only one in existence that I'm aware of, and that is a great big step forward.
Here is a picture of the aloe I sit next to.
