The sun was on it's way down as we arrived to wait for the moon.
Due to the Covid Lockdown it was a tricky wait, because no cars were allowed to travel after 9pm.
We arrived at 6:30pm and the moon appeared at 8:15pm.
Thankfully we made it home before 9pm.
Come and have a look.
Ever seen the condensation flow from a plane's motors?
Yep! The sun was slowly and graciously descending.
There! The mountains were covered by a cloud layer and the moon peeped at us here.
The moon cleared the first layer and it was time to go closer on the zoom.
There we are, as this was the last layer that the moon had to clear.
Finally, there she was, still with some light clouds to penetrate, but at least we could see her beauty above the mountains.
I love these long waiting periods, as they give a person time to get all other kinds of shots, but more importantly, they give a person time just to be.
By "to be" I mean, a time to live with gratitude in one's heart, just to be here , just to be alive and just to wonder at life in general.
A time to wish everyone here on Hive a wonderful New Year!
May it be that we will all endure and overcome anything that the new year dishes up to each of us and our families!
And That's All Friends!
Something here to think about!
