Looked like a Chev or a Dodge Roadster!
Ever heard of a "Chopped Top" car?
Neither have I, but at the end of this post I will attach a link about the history of chopped top cars.
The surprise is that I saw this one on a South African road today and it was a big craze overseas in the 1940s and 50s.
Have a look at this beaut!
He roared through the traffic light and I had to wait!
But I soon caught up to him again!
A V8 roar sounded from his chrome pipes!
Inscription reads "Bad Apple" at the side!

And here's a final look, as I had to turn towards the right at the intersection.
This is a Ford Shoebox, chopped top from the late 1940s to the 50s era.
The driver must have thought that I am mad, as I was driving and taking photos at the same time. At least it looked like it, as my cars windows are all black tinted. So he couldn't see my passenger, Marian holding the steering while I was taking the photos.
I searched the Internet for Chevrolets and the Dodges in vain and was about to give up when the idea popped up to also search Ford.
Bam! and there it was, an exact Ford match in make but a black color on Pininterest.
