...and as it ends, then it is one day less in our lives.
In here I will show you some late afternoon shots (5 shots), and then also sunset shots (5).
We simply have to appreciate every new day no matter what it brings good or bad, as it is a gift to all of us. In any case, as an old man that has seen so many days, I am afraid that in my younger days, I regarded each day as just another day to struggle through. Life deals us the cards, and it's how we handle them that matters. I have had a ton of adventures over the years, always seeking for something that I did not know what, but eventually clarity has emerged.
It transpired that I have been searching for peace in my heart all this wasted time, but peace kept on avoiding me for many reasons, mainly that I was not ready for it. How can you be ready if you had a terrible childhood and a wasted youth, being saddled with a wife and 3 kids at 21 years old, only for it to end in divorce 18 years later. It sounds like I am moaning here, as many others have much worse happening in their lives, but it is not my intention to moan, rather just to share some of my thoughts here. And yes, I have learned to appreciate every new day.
Lovely magical days now, and I see each day as a gift.
And now I will show you 5 shots of the sunset on the same day.
What is there not to love about the serene shots of nature? As you go through the 5 pictures below, allow each picture to tell its story to you. I am honest here when I tell you that I never regarded nature as much as I do now in my golden years. So much to see every day, and to realise that one would never see it all. Thankfully, my blog on Hive is the ideal place to display all my passions.
This was the first shot that I took, and I knew that it would grow more intense.
Finally, the shot that I liked the most is this one below.
What is happening scientifically with the cloud colors here? In my previous post I have mentioned the Rayleigh color diffusion effect on the sky, and to briefly state that it was the case also in here.
Here is an example on Wikipedia.
Rayleigh scattering of sunlight in Earth's atmosphere causes diffuse sky radiation. Since blue light wavelengths scatter more, the diffuse sky seen in daytime is blue. At twilight the sunlight on the horizon is missing the scattered blue light wavelengths giving a yellowish to reddish hue to the low Sun.
I am not ashamed to say that nature is my teacher, as it shows me true love ways. Yes, at times there is a war in the sky during the fierce storms, but it is also so in all of our lives. Some days are calm and other days are crazy. In-between all of this, the beauty remains. Now, I am not a philosopher, or a scientist, or any such, just a simple being that has learned to love life.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
