An early morning cloud drinking some sunrise!

Up very early this morning, I took some moonshots as it was still dark. Then I went back inside to make some coffee and to wait for daybreak. Back outside, as I rounded the front corner of the house, my breath was taken away by this fiery cloud. All alone in the sky surrounded by cloudy fingers whipped up by the winds.
It was indeed an awesome sight.
Let's have a look.

Amazingly I almost got a double reflection of the earth in the moon.

This is the sight that was waiting for me early this morning!

And this is the same cloud taken later in the morning!

The sun was up and here's a lucky shot of a fish gulping some air!

A dragonfly backed by the early sunlight!

A couple of Sacred Ibis's came flying over!

An early Red winged Starling taking a rest!

And finally an upside down squirrel looking for nuts in the oak tree!

I love spending time alone out in the garden during the early mornings. Everyone is still asleep and it's so great to see and hear the day awakening. Of course life's noises gradually start, but there's always a few empty hours very early when a person can relax in silence and I call it me time!
Thoughts about life, and all other things threaten to tumble through one's mind, but I have a tool similar to a black board eraser to sweep the thoughts out of my mind.

An empty mind can connect to the heart which in turn allows many truths to emerge, brought by messengers to the spirit. And this is why I spend time outside in the morning in the stillness of the dawn. Why am I sharing this?
Well many call it meditation and other names, but I call it emptiness. A glass cannot be filled when it's full and a mind cannot receive when it's filled with thoughts. For me personally, I find guidance at these times and I hope that those of you that's never tried it, will give it a go.
Think about it!
