Some unusual photos of the Lotus flowers that I will show you here.
We stopped off at the Lourensford Wine estate where they have a lovely square surrounded by a tiled water trench. Water lilies were planted in this trench and it is beautiful on the eye when the flowers are in bloom.
Come and have a look!
The bud below this flower is of a dead flower.
Here is a closer look at the bud with a Red-veined dragonfly (Trithemis arteriosa) on the bud.
Here is another water lily in the sun.
And as the sunlight darkened, the same flower closed for the day!
This is a day lily in our garden.
Here we have our 24 hour Echinopsis cacti flowers and they only bloom for one day!
Beautiful as the flower bloomed before the sunrise.
And That's All Friends!
As some of you know now after all of the years, I have two loves namely charity work and nature. A few have asked me why I don't place more charity posts like I did yesterday.
Now there's two reasons for this, one is that I don't want to become boring and the other is that I would rather show all of the beauty of God the creator to everyone in nature photos.
Oh, and there's a third reason as nature is a great release for all of the stresses that our charity work places upon me.
So there you have it!
Note: As usual all photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.
We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and thank you for visiting a post by @papilloncharity
