I was told about the beauty of this olive farm and we went to have a look!
It is an olive and wine farm in the western cape and unfortunately I got stuck at the dam, so will have to bring you more information about the farm and it's produce in another post.
I also took many photo here, but will split the shots into a few posts.
The way that the clouds streamed over the mountain peaks was absolutely amazing to watch.

This was the turn off at the farm entrance!
Of course I took a walk around the dam!
Three bird species here, Cormorant, African Darter and a Red-knobbed Coot.
Schools of fish fingerlings all over in the shallows!
A female "Blue Emperor" dragonfly laying eggs!
And I found her husband, "Blue Emperor" not far away!
But it was the beauty of nature that kept my eyes and my camera occupied!
This picture is towards the northern side of the dam.
And finally this is what it looks like towards the southern end of the dam.
Amazing sights today and I don't know about you, but when I see these beautiful sights, my soul seems to soar like and eagle.
Talking about an eagle soaring, I also caught a Sacred Ibis coming in and landing in a tree top, which I will post tomorrow.
Oh and I just popped out now into the garden here at home to show you a very late afternoon shot of the clouds storming the mountain.
