As we walked around this lake there were so many unusual scenes on show.
Come with me to see the beauty that surrounds us here.
We decided to walk around this lake and there were many wonders on show.
There is a big farm right next to the lake and I will show you some of the animals that we saw. We regularly go out into nature at different places, as there is an abundance of wildlife and birds in the area.
Wide open spaces to enjoy the freedom and the silence.
Come and look.
The first surprise. A South African Springbok.
And there was the mate.
A Black-headed Heron stood watching me from the bushes.
Can you imagine living here?
It looked like an old abandoned farm house with a great view over the lake.
Now how is this for a champion bull? I think it is a Brahman breed.
Just a lovely flamingo for you to please your eyes.
That is our town below the mountains and the line of trees at the front is the border of the town. I think that slowly the town will expand to include the lake and the farm.
Just a lovely distant look.
Amazing what one can find on the journeys around here, as there are always surprises to be found. We simply love going out as Mother nature is a great healer, and in the tough field of charity work one needs all of the healing that one can get. Rather than sitting on the couch watching TV, I would be out watching the mountains.
Just our way of life, and I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.
And That's All Friends.
