Come and let me show you the reason for her acorn collections.
She has one of those bio-degradable green bags and she fills the bag with acorns that are on the ground below the oak trees.
While she is collecting nuts, I am around with my camera taking bird and nature shots. We work well together as she does her collecting thing and I do my camera thing:)
We get out into nature at every opportunity that we get and fortunately we had some time this Easter weekend.
Here is another shot of her nuts and she collects only the fresh ones.
Right, here below is the reason why she collects the nuts.
A squirrel feast of note.
As I was taking the photos back here at home, this guy popped down the palm tree to see what I was doing. Hey Zac he said, do you have a proper peanut for me?
So with a kind heart I gave him a nut.
Then he popped up on our front wall keeping an eye on me while he ate the nut.
And that's our life over here, mixed with charity work for poor people, animals, birds and nature. Not a bad life methinks even though we have to manage many problems. Nature offers us an escape and thankfully we are also near the ocean for those long beach strolls.
Of course all of this is free and available at any time. Just our way of enjoying life.
And That's All Friends.
