We call them the headache twins and I think that you can see that they can be a bit naughty at times. Especially when they challenge each other to run across Marian's washing lines.
Come and see what our squirrels are up to on yet another wet and rainy day. The cold has now also started to get serious and our temperatures are starting to drop. But we are not complaining as the apple and other trees need the cold to sleep. So yes, finally winter has started.
"Hiya brother", the girl at bottom called, "can you perhaps also pass me a nut"?
The king of the palm tree sat eating a date and watched his kingdom below.
Yeah, look again as now there were 3 squirrels on show.
If you see only 2, look at the top of the white wall at the right.
Here was another little girl and she did not want to join the crowd.
Finally this little guy curtsied and wished all Hiveans well.
It seems that the clouds are at last starting to break up and according to the weatherman, tomorrow will be a clear day.
But of course we take that with a pinch of salt.
I am so glad that we don't live behind the mountain on the apple farm anymore. According to a radio announcer things are starting to ice up there and we know exactly what he means, as we also experienced it. The granite faces and boulders of the mountain are like refrigerators.
Ice and mud all over the place with a broken fire place and a leaking roof in a cottage is no joke to live in.
Fortunately we now live at the front of the mountain and the ocean keeps the ice away.
