Check out how the wind blows her feathers.
A windy morning at the beach and the birds all know that rain is on the way.
We have had storm warnings and apparently it will rain for the next 3 days with flooding in the low lying areas.Current temperature is 14 deg. Celsius and it will stay about the same over the period. Almost a return to winter, but I am here to show you some birds today.
This post is also meant for #featheredfriday hosted by the lovely Lady @melinda010100
Let's have a peep!
Soon the gull took off across the beach!
There are three species of birds in this photo.
Ordinary gull, grey headed gull and a tern couple!
Clouds slowly gathering at a deserted beach.
Exactly the way that we like it, as during the holiday periods that these beaches are packed with people!
Of course the terns are some of my favorites due to their speed in flight!
Beautiful how this guy speeds over the sea!
Here's a closer look at a couple of terns.
These two, a gull and a tern had a race on.
The tern was gracious by giving the gull a head start!
And this gray headed lady was admiring herself in the mirror!
One brave guy was out Kite surfing in the ocean!
As we approached our car to leave, I saw this Kestrel landing on the balcony of one of the high rise buildings!
This gray headed gull came swooshing over to say good bye to us!
With it's mate flying along close by!
And I was just in time to catch this unedited shine of the setting sun on the mountain top!
And That's All Folks!
Oh! Before I forget, I also at last caught a little guy that is even faster than the terns fishing in the sea.
Mr. Pied Kingfisher himself, but I will do another post about this guy later on!
We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and now we must go and try to feed the young crow that ended up here today totally wet and rain drenched.
He fell off the roof into our garden trying to fly and there are many cats here.
So I have placed him in our emergency animal cage.
I will post about his rescue tomorrow!
