Gates can keep small dogs inside, but they can also make a great ladder for Squirry!
So Squirry met a new little boy, or should it be that the little boy met Squirry?
Every late afternoon I step out with the camera to get some cloud shots, but today Squirry came and insisted upon some peanuts, which I always have in one of my pockets. So I gave her a couple and she decided to go and sit on the pillar of a neighbor's gate.
Let's have a look!
Once at the top of the gate she re-arranges the nuts.
Then she popped onto the gate pillar!
Along comes little Michael, "Cat, cat" he shouts!
"No Mikey, it's not a cat" I said to him!
"Rat, rat, rat" Mikey shouts pointing at Squirry!
"No Mikey it's not a rat" I kindly told him!
Almost a Michael McIntire episode!Lol.
And so Mikey sat there for a time in wonderment!
Confused the little guy looked at me, "It is Squirry" I said to him!
"Okay, bye Squibby, I am going now" little Mikey said!
Of course Squirry took no notice of her small visitor and she didn't even get upset because he pronounced her name wrong hahaha!

Hope that you enjoyed the little meeting and the pictures here today. The thing that I have to figure out is how to explain to little children what a squirrel is. By the way also to little dogs, as our dog Troy is convinced that squirry is a cat Lol.
Troy sees Squirry at my study window and he goes into a barking frenzy, then he also sees me opening the window to give squirry nuts and then Troy gets into a mood and goes into his "house". We call his sleeping place his house and he thinks that it is hahaha.
In closing let me just say that I will have to find a course that teaches people how to explain to toddlers and little dogs what a squirrel is.
Any ideas anyone?
