...with some thrilling views, and so, come and see what I have to share.
The day started off with two morning moon shots, and then a surprise, and also some mousebirds.
Life just seems to run away with us lately. So much to do can suddenly stop, and then we don't know what to do with ourselves. It has become a habit to stay busy, but the busyness can become a burden to bear on one's back. Roller coaster stuff, and then all of a sudden everything seems to be sorted out, and an emptiness starts to set in. What we have learned from all of this, is to stay calm, as the danger is to go out and to force busyness, that invariable turns into troubles. Does this make sense to you?
Now what was this? We were on our way to replenish my tablet stocks, and this lovely oldie stopped in front of us.
It turned in the same direction that we were going.
I could see that this oldie was in an excellent condition, and I wonder how many modern cars will still be around for 40 or 60 years later.
Sadly, our turnoff to the hospital appeared, and I had to leave it at that. I so wanted to get a front view of it, as it was beautiful and one can see that the owner keeps the car in a tip-top condition.
Let me show you some White-backed Mousebirds (Colius colius).
After getting the tablets, we stopped to have some coffee at a coffee shop, and the sound of a mousebird in a tree drew my attention. It turned out that it was not a mousebird, but rather a pair of mousebirds.
Something special about these birds, is that they fall into an endemic African order. They clamber around in vegetation, and sun their bellies after feeding to accelerate digestion. They roost huddled to conserve heat.

Now, after you have eaten take a tip from the mousebirds and run outside to get the sun on your bellies to help with the digestion. Lol.
I don't think they could see us sitting at the table in the open while they were at the top of a tree across the road.
And finally, I caught the one in flight as they crossed over.
I always have my camera at my side, and on this day, it proved its worth as there are certainly a variety of views in this post that are unrelated. Although they are different, all of them are beautiful, and that is what makes me happy. I love to share everything that I see, in my blog and many times I get something special, or unusual to show such as on this day. Nature also always offers us abundant views, and we regard nature as our safe place.
Such is life.
