Everyone here knows that I am addicted to lemon cake!
So, a lady invited me to her garden to go and pick some lemons.
Turns out that it is her back yard garden and I was surprised to see all of the Hibiscus bushes.
Come, let me show you!
My new load of lemons that will soon be turned into delicious, light lemon cakes!
Our little Red-collared Sunbird followed me from our garden to see what I was doing!
Four photos below to show you the beautiful Hibiscus flowers!
The yellow one above is actually a "Double-Hibiscus" and I would love to see how it looks when those other 2 buds also flower!
Finally, her backyard has a beautiful mountain view, but her husband died and the garden became very overgrown. All of the bushes need trimming and some of the trees are crying out for a prune.
Once cleared there will be a lot more to see of the mountains.
Good idea that I offered to go and sort it out in exchange for the lemons.
