Some times of year are just better than others!
Recently while I was gone for work, the Little-Peppers butchered and processed all our full grown meat chickens. This was a huge blessing, and took me by surprise. To "get them back" I picked up over 100 more meat chickens, and these chicks will be our fall meat chickens. Often, folks will get meat chicken chicks in the spring and process them in the summer, but we think that getting meat chicken chicks in the summer and processing them in the fall is ever better.
