Mama-Pepper just got another badge for her "Homestead Homemaker" vest.
Actually, she doesn't really have a vest.... or any badges. Mostly because "we don't need no stinkin' badges."
However, gaining knowledge and real life skills is something that we believe we do need, so things like this really help. Not only is canning a great way to preserve the meat, we don't need to use electricity to keep it preserved like we would if we put it in a freezer. I can't wait to finish the root cellar build and then fill it with tasty homemade food too! Thanks much Mama-Pepper!
