🐕🚶♂️🌅🌙 Two Walks, One Very Loyal Dog = My Actifit Report Card: September 24 2026
Today was a proper "steps day"! Between a morning stroll and an evening one, my faithful companion Choko and I clocked some serious mileage together. Let me tell you about it! 👇
🌤️ Morning walk: fresh air and full energy
Started the day early with Choko trotting happily by my side. Mornings around Ca' Paradiso are the best time to walk: quiet roads, cool air, and a dog who acts like every walk is the single greatest event of his entire life. His enthusiasm alone is basically a form of cardio for the soul. 🐾
🌇 Evening walk: round two
As the day wound down, we headed out again for a second walk, this time with the light turning gold and everything a little slower and calmer. Choko never seems to run out of energy for these outings — evening walk, morning walk, doesn't matter, he's always ready to go, ears up and tail wagging like it's the first walk of his life every single time.
🐾 The real MVP of the day
Honestly, between the two walks, I think Choko put in more effort than I did — he does zigzags, backtracks, sniffs every blade of grass twice, and still somehow finishes each walk more excited than when he started. If dedication to walking were an Olympic sport, he'd have the gold already.
🥬 A quick check on the winter garden
In between walks, I stopped by the winter garden to see how the seedlings are doing, and I'm happy to report: they're growing beautifully! Cabbages, lettuce and all the rest are settling in nicely under their straw mulch, quietly getting ready for the colder months ahead. 🌱
🐕💕 A guest, thoroughly conquered
Speaking of things growing steadily: my guest's affection for Choko keeps increasing at an impressive rate. At this point I'm fairly sure Choko has a more devoted following at Ca' Paradiso than I do. 😄
🌼 Autumn blooms making an entrance
And nature is doing its part too: the autumn flowering season seems to be kicking off, with some lovely blooms popping up around the garden. A nice little reminder that even as summer fades, there's always something new opening up. 🌸
☕🍫 The afternoon reward: hot chocolate in Cagli
And of course, after all that walking, gardening and Choko-related devotion, a treat was in order: a rich hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, enjoyed in the center of Cagli. Absolutely, unapologetically, well deserved. 🏆
