Now, let's put them together.
This is going to be delicious. What started as a fun fishing trip turned into an epic meal idea. When I was young we would periodically get some smoked chubs at the grocery store. I loved everything about them, the look, the scent, the taste... Anyway, when I happened upon a school of chubs out in the river, I took advantage of the opportunity and began reeling in as many as I could... which was about a dozen.
That was step one. Then, I had to work on step two, which was to build a makeshift, temporary smoker. Since i had some pretty good resources lying around, it turned out to be a rather attractive structure.
With the heat and smoke of the fire and the support and shielding of the structure, it's time for step three, combining them with the fish. Here we go!!!!
