Tonight, I got about twenty feet away.
Yes, the photos are a little grainy. Often that happens at night with a bright flashlight. I didn't even notice this deer when I first parked and got out of my truck. Then, as I turned, it was right there, about thirty feet away. I walked a little closer and closed the gap to about twenty feet. We enjoyed about two minutes at that distance, before it finally decided to head for the woods. I did get these few photos though. I bet it'll stay further away come hunting season. Enjoy the pics!
