That was a fun and profitable outing!
It appears that the carp spawn is now starting. On this night out we got nine males and one female, so the males are obviously more eager than the females and are stacking up in the shallows. We'll see how the weather and rain go, but if it's hot and dry the lake should erupt with spawning carp soon. Ten in a night isn't bad, and we were blessed to harvest so much food. Red-Pepper and Sweet-Pepper enjoyed coming with me. Here's some photos of the harvest. Enjoy!
