Paulina and Ake Viking were married in Sicily in the autumn of 1958, thanks to one of these bottles. Two years earlier Ake, a bored young Swedish sailor on a ship at sea, had thrown a bottle with a message asking any girl to find her to write a message back. Paulina's father, a Sicilian fisherman, continued with what he thought was a joke and gave it to his daughter so that she would return the bottle with a message back. Do you know the result?
