Today is Halloween, and it has been lovely to see so many children in costume, roaming the streets and knocking on doors to ask for candy. Some costumes were quite creative, while others were simply adorable. There is something special about witnessing the excitement with which they embrace these little traditions eagerly awaiting their treats and enjoying the night.
At work, I also had the chance to hand out candy; although it was a simple gesture, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our responsibilities and daily routines that we forget how wonderful it can be to offer a small moment of joy to someone else. Today, I found myself on the other side not asking for candy, but giving it out and it was a truly pleasant experience.
Hoy es Halloween y ha sido bonito ver a tantos ni帽os disfrazados, recorriendo las calles y tocando puertas para pedir dulces. Algunos disfraces eran bastante creativos y otros simplemente adorables. Hay algo especial en ver la ilusi贸n con la que viven estas peque帽as tradiciones, esperando recibir sus golosinas y disfrutando de la noche.
En mi trabajo tambi茅n tuve la oportunidad de repartir dulces, y aunque fue un gesto sencillo, me gust贸 mucho hacerlo. A veces uno est谩 tan concentrado en sus responsabilidades y en la rutina que olvida lo bonito que puede ser regalar un peque帽o momento de alegr铆a a alguien m谩s. Hoy me toc贸 estar del otro lado, no pidiendo dulces, sino entreg谩ndolos, y fue una experiencia bastante agradable.
