Hoy les traigo un poema que llegó de inspiración por la situación económica que vive mi país, donde se aproxima seguramente otra devaluación de la moneda y la vida se hace cada vez más dura de sobrellevar. También quise darle un toque basado en mi experiencia depresiva, así que acá les dejo lo que escribí. Espero que les guste 🧡

Today, I bring you a poem that came from inspiration by the economic situation in my country, where another devaluation of the currency is surely approaching, and life is getting harder to bear. I also wanted to give it a touch based on my depressive experience, so here is what I wrote. I hope you like it 🧡

𝐋𝐮𝐳 & 𝐎𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝

Entre luz y oscuridad
Mi mente se discierne
Constantemente
Esto suele ser agotador
Pero también reparador

Entre la luz y oscuridad
Como el Yin y el Yang
Mi mente se pasea
De aquí para allá
Luchando ante la adversidad
Añorando alcanzar la paz

Alejado de las tristezas
Alejados de los agobios
Que sólo me estresan
Situaciones que no puedo controlar
Y que ante ellas sólo debo lidiar
Lo mejor que puedo
Aun con miedo.

He aprendido a vivir así
Vagando entre ambos mundos
A veces por segundos
Que se vuelven moribundos

Así que puedo decir
Que conozco más las penumbras
Que la luz que se vislumbra
Ante la paz y tranquilidad
Añorando siempre
Que la calma dure más
Y la adversidad se aleje
A otro lugar
Para no volver nunca más

Between light and darkness
My mind is discerning
Constantly
This is often exhausting
But also restorative

Between light and darkness
Like Yin and Yang
My mind wanders
Back and forth
Struggling in the face of adversity
Longing for peace

Away from sadness
Away from the burdens
That only stresses me out
Situations that I cannot control
And that I just have to deal with them
The best I can
Even with fear.

I have learned to live like this
Wandering between both worlds
Sometimes for seconds
That become dying

💚

So I can say
That I know more of the gloom
Then the light that glimmers
Before the quiet
Longing always
That the calm may last longer
And the adversity moves away
To another place
Never to return again
