I agree with this. Manual curation would be perfect, but these autovotes can be lifesaving for the little people who are consistent with good content. Manual curation hard to do, especially with the whole short attention span thingy. I'm not sure a lot of people would be willing to spend hours on here supporting their favourite writers manually.
