Hi bloggers and food lovers! How are you doing? 3 days ago, I went to the mall to buy a few things and stopped by one of my favorite snack spots. It’s called Chikuro, a snack that’s both filling and delicious. The stall isn’t very big, but by late afternoon especially on weekends the line gets really long. Chikuro is made from chicken coated in breadcrumbs, deep-fried, and filled with your choice of sauce.
Chikuro is quite famous in my place because of its firm texture and delicious flavor, plus the variety of fillings and toppings you can choose to suit your taste. They offer several filling options, such as royal garlic, furuzuchi sauce, kurimi mentai, and green curry cream cheese. Then there are several seasoning options: signature Japanese truffle, sweet BBQ, and Japanese nori. And of course, you can choose your spice level, ranging from original to “screaming.” They also sell french fries, tamagoyaki, and norimaki.
I bought Combo Package 2—two large-sized chiro that I shared with my friend—with royal garlic cream cheese and signature Japanese truffle fillings, and “screaming” spice level. My friend ordered another serving with the same fillings but a different spice level. The meat is dense and very filling.
That’s all for today. Thank you, wish you had a great day ahead ✨
