Hi bloggers and community members, good afternoon. Last night, my coworkers and I had dinner at a buffet restaurant not far from the office. We usually have this dinner once a year. This time, we chose an all-you-can-eat restaurant, so we could choose whatever we wanted from the menu as long as it was still available.
Last night鈥檚 menu was quite diverse, ranging from local dishes to Japanese cuisine. My friends and I at our table picked out a few interesting items. At the dessert station, there were several cakes and lupis on the table. I took one of each to sample. Next to that was a table filled with fried snacks that you could also grab to try.
For savory and soupy dishes, I chose chicken noodles with chili oil sauce with curly noodles topped with chicken and a sprinkle of fried onions.
Next was the hot pot station, the broth was piping hot since it was cooked on the spot. We could choose from a variety of ingredients to be cooked on request, including fish meatballs, chicken meatballs, sausages, and vegetables. Then I also grabbed a bowl of mini lobsters in spicy sauce with corn kernels inside. After that, I picked up a few pieces of sushi to share.
Last night鈥檚 main course was a small portion of rice with noodles, served with sapo tofu and ginger-steamed chicken and of course some crackers on top. My friend and I shared this rice dish because, to be honest, we were both starting to feel full.
Alright, that's all for today, see you i another story 馃榿馃榾
