We walked 11 834 steps today. I wanted to write about this day while it was still fresh in my mind.
We are keeping our trips to the weekend so we are both relaxed and in good spirits
My son and I woke up late today as yesterday had been quite a full and enjoyable day and walking 15 000 steps. Quite a challenge for me again as I had not walked from the Monday to Thursday other than a quick walk to Albert Hijn my favourite grocery store here.
So, after a late breakfast - this morning it was French Toast which was made for me by my son - we set off to catch the train to where my son is employed. The girls in the team had organised a Flea market for the residents of the building.
I was greeted by the girls in the team and they were lovely, so friendly and welcoming.
Before having a good chance to look at the stalls, I arrived where Wiola was making pancakes. I must say that they were truly delicious, compliments to whoever maid the delicious batter. There was a selection of chocolate, and a chocolate fountain and strawberries both cut up and whole to add to the pancake. Also coke light, coke and bottled water to drink.

There is a great music room as well for the residents.

A lovely touch.
We left to go into the city of Amsterdam and collected some gifts my son had bought the day before.
Once again a lovely adventure. We had planned to go to Haarlem but the weather was not great - it was drizzling and very cold so we decided to go back home.
My next post will be about Friday's adventure where we went out for lunch and then to a chocolate factory,
