Yesterday i posted some black and white impressions today i will post some colour impressions of the wedding we had last Friday.
The party was on a boat , it was to depart at 15:00 and the couple wanted to be maried at exactly 15:30 for some astronomical reasons .
The first person we saw arriving was the wedding photographer, with his bag and tripot.
on the wedding ivitation it said we had to be ready to board the boat at 15:00 on the docking bay at the Stopera in Amsterdam.
Manny boats go through the river Amstel in the summer times and not just tourists .

And after the pledge was made , there was a big cake with white chocolate and raspberries .
The catering people devided the cake after the newly weds had the first cut and bite.
we went underneath many bridges some smaller the others
Although most of the guests didn't see the swan i decided to take the photo since it was so close to the boat.
And she was not alone , she brought her kids to the party
She had seven kids with her ,
We cruised the canals some more , and i got the chance to take some scenery photos.
Here on the Prins Hendrikkade near the central station we saw a lot of smaller boats with tourist cruising the waterways sloop / longboats / dinghy whatever they are called in English.
So many small boats , tourisme must be booming bussines here .
These are the boats that i remember from my time living in Amsterdam , some 30 years ago , back then you needed to use a modem to dial in before you could acces the internet ... Very expansive phonebills back then .
