I discovered three soldiers on the floor below and executed a chain assassination before quietly taking down the third. Finding the officer's room locked, I read a letter revealing the key was hidden on the eastern balcony. After searching, I defeated a giant brute and several guards to secure the area.
There were not one but three soldiers on the floor below, and I needed to find the perfect window to go for them. I waited patiently for the right moment, keeping a close eye on their movements.
I just did a chain assassination on both of them, dropping down with absolute precision to eliminate them before they could even react. The execution was cool, and it worked exactly as I had planned.
The third one was not even aware of what had just happened there, remaining completely oblivious to the sudden deaths of his comrades. So, I moved in to take care of this third one quietly.
With the immediate threat cleared, I began investigating the surrounding structures. I found a grand doorway that looked promising, and I realized this must be the officer's room, but it was locked and I needed the key.
As I searched the nearby tables, I noticed a letter left behind. The letter mentioned a key to the officer's room was kept on the eastern balcony, that I'll have to find next.
Well, I just found the key easily, or what. I thought I had spotted it, but no, not yet. It was just other loot that I had picked up instead.
Since the key remained hidden, I decided to shift my focus to the remaining defenders. Well, let's take care of the rest of the guards first, maybe. I saw someone else was guarding this side of the courtyard. I slipped into position and I just air assassinated him
I decided to bully a guard with a whistle. I whistled from the high ground to get his attention. Yeah, he was coming to check the noise, lured in by the sound.
Well, he saw me, man, but he didn't know where I went because I vanished back into the shadows. I moved around to get a better angle, hoping to assassinate him from behind.
He caught sight of me and immediately raised his weapon. But now, he was attacking me directly. I guessed my stealth was done for, but no, I was attacking him back.
I didn't give him a chance to blow his horn and call the entire garrison. I parried his heavy swings and counterattacked fiercely. And he was done for, good. I just took down a big brute, which felt like a massive victory.
Now, it was time take down another one of them with a throwing knife. I spotted a guard patrolling the far walkway and lined up my shot. I let the blade fly, and it hit him instantly.
Another soldier saw him going down, and he was coming to check on his fallen ally. I wanted to let him taste a throwing knife as well, just like his comrade did. Well, I missed the first one because he moved suddenly, but not the second one. The second knife hit him perfectly, dropping him on the spot.
There was another soldier who noticed it, and he was coming to check the bodies. I wanted to give him a taste of my hidden blade. I waited around the corner as his footsteps drew near. As he stepped into view, I drove the blade right through his skull.
Until next time, happy gaming.
