Dogan bin Arslan was dead, but his betrayal was merely a single thread in a much larger tapestry. The cryptic letters found on his body pointed directly to a broader conspiracy, involving mysterious order members who used code names like Al-Rukh and Al-A'eshma. To uncover the truth, Basim knew he had to investigate their meeting place at the Officers' Club in Baghdad.
I fast traveled to Baghdad and found myself on top of a tall tower to survey the distant city landscape. Then I took a breath and performed a flawless leap of faith, diving gracefully into the straw below.
As I neared the perimeter, a soldier on the outer wall shouted that I was not welcome. Wanting to pass without a fight, I jumped over the wall without his permission, outrunning him easily.
I did not even have to wet my hands with his blood, as I was fast enough to escape before he could properly notice me.
Upon reaching the actual grounds of the Officers' Club, I quickly realized the entire building was heavily guarded. Realizing I could not engage them directly without being completely overwhelmed by their numbers
I called in Enkidu to map out the exact location of every threat. Flying high around the property, I discovered multiple archers stationed on the battlements and tagged more than two dozen active guards patrolling the paths below.
Seeing the massive perimeter crawling with so many trained soldiers, I knew I needed a careful stealth approach to find an alternative way inside.
I noticed that the main entrance itself was completely blocked by two heavily armed spearmen, forcing me to look for another path up high.
Finding a viable way up the side of the architecture, I climbed the stone structures and successfully reached the flat roof.

Two lookouts patrolled the upper ledge, completely unaware of my presence. Creeping up silently behind them, I took them down by surprise, assassinating the first guard instantly. The second lookout tried to scream out a warning, but I quickly silenced him before he could alert the massive courtyard below.
With that part of the roof was completely cleared, I maintained my patience, preparing to slip deeper into the heart of the club undetected while I was hanging on a high ground to look for a way ahead.
Until next time, happy gaming.
