I searched the eastern balcony, defeated an archer safeguarding the premises, and claimed the key. After blending into the area to regain my anonymity, I unlocked the officer's room, overhearing Al-A'eshma and Al-Rukh discuss their operations. When Dogan's death was discovered, they escaped and I had to follow.
approached the locked door once again to check if I could somehow bypass it, but the game explicitly stated that I must be anonymous to enter that restricted area.
Realizing my presence was still causing an alert, I chose to leave the place for the time being, planning to come back only after regaining my anonymity.
I finally figured out where the key was being held. My instincts proved correct as I spotted one lone guard left in the area, who appeared to be tasked with guarding the eastern balcony. Instead of hiding, I chose to let him see me directly.
He pulled out his bow, revealing himself to be a skilled archer who preferred to maintain his distance rather than engage me in a direct sword fight. I closed the distance rapidly, dodging his projectiles, and forced him into close quarters to say a permanent goodbye to his archery skills.
I discovered that he carried the exact key I needed. I collected it from a table near remains and made a direct line back toward the officer's room.
Upon arriving, the system once again warned me that I needed to be entirely anonymous to enter the area. I looked around in frustration; there was absolutely no one around to interact with or break my line of sight, making it difficult to figure out how to reset my status when no one was actively looking at me.
I decided to step completely out of the immediate area and wait for the game to naturally make me anonymous again. After a few moments in hiding, my status finally reset.
I slipped back inside, approached the officer's room, and successfully used the key to unlock the heavy door.
Basim crept inside to see what was happening and instantly spotted Al-Rook talking closely with Al-A'eshma. He remained hidden, listening carefully as they conversed about their luck and spoke about the one individual who managed to scare them the most.
Their conversation shifted as they began asking about Dogan's whereabouts, noting that he was exceptionally late. I smiled quietly to myself, knowing that I had already personally taken care of him.
Suddenly, a group of frantic soldiers burst into the room to deliver the urgent news that Dogan had been murdered. Panic erupted, and the guards immediately moved to escort their leadership down to the basement for safety.
The entire place was rapidly locked down and guarded once more, forcing me to find a safe way out. I had absolutely no desire to fight my way through an entire army before getting out, so I carefully searched for a safe path to escape the premises.
I located a quiet, unobstructed route that looked like the safest and easiest path available. I slipped through the exit into the open air, completely safe at last, successfully closing the case on the officer's club.
Until next time, happy gaming.
