Tesla is the future.
The Tesla Model 3 will begin production in mid 2017 and any reservation for the car will be fulfilled in the middle of 2018. The Model 3 will be the most budget friendly of all cars released by this revolutionary company with the starting value at $35,000.
Time for some specifications on this new vehicle. The Model 3 has a range of about 215 miles, can go from 0 miles per hour to 60 in just 6 seconds, and will be able to seat 5 adults comfortably. This sedan is all electric as expected and has Tesla's 'Supercharging' capabilities. It had the hardware for autopilot and has a 5-star safety rating.
At the investor's call meeting last week, CEO Elon Musk teased about a new SUV, the Tesla Model Y is what it's being called for now. The Tesla Model Y is in the development stages and will be unveiled in the near future, hopefully 2018. It will be very similar to the Model 3 just like the Model S is similar to the Model X. The Model Y is suppose to have Falcon Wing doors just like the Model X. Although it will be more compact than the Model X.
