The car will run on the road and will also fly into the sky if necessary. Although it has seemed like a science fiction story until now, this time Elon Musk's Tesla has shown such a surprise. Musk's company has come up with a flying car. A car running on the road suddenly flew into the sky. Elon Musk's Tesla is once again in the news around the world with this incredible scene.
The much-awaited new generation Tesla Roadster was unveiled at the SpaceX test center in the United States on Thursday. The exhibition shows the car climbing up a specially made curved ramp and at one point moving upside down.
Then it turns in the air with the help of thrusters and lands safely on the ground again. The roadster also jumped over five Tesla cars placed in a row in the moving exhibition. Behind this technology is a joint venture between Tesla and SpaceX. The special version of the car uses cold gas thrusters. This system creates a push or force by releasing gas stored at high pressure.
It can also be stuck to the reverse surface of the ramp with the help of a special suction system under the car. But here is the important difference. Although the exhibition showed the car flying for a short time or maneuvering, there is still no evidence that it can stay in the air for a long time like an airplane or travel long distances. Therefore, the scope of calling it a full-fledged flying car in the conventional sense is limited.
It has not been approved for use on public roads. In addition, the big question now is safety approval. It is not yet clear what kind of license, training, insurance and regulatory approval will be required to use the technology to fly in the air in addition to regular road use. Tesla's exhibition has given a new dimension to the concept of flying cars, but the dream of flying in the air for everyday travel still has a long way to go in terms of technical testing, safety verification and legal approval.
