Is Piódão one of the most isolated villages in Portugal? 🌍🏞️(En-Es) by biologistbrito@biologistbrito

You did a fantastic review of Piódão village! Before settling in an inland Spanish city, I was checking out real estate prices in rural areas of Portugal and found some really nice, cheap gems! I haven't purchased anything yet, but seeing how this village looks, it's tempting!
I like stone houses, peaceful villages in remote locations... Maybe I should suggest to my wife that we could visit Piódão!
The only issue with these kinds of places is rain... As it's in the mountains, I suppose it rains a lot, and winters are probably snowy... After enjoying Spanish sun for over a decade, it's hard to change it for rain... 😃

Finish One, Start Another - September 10, 2026 @goldenoakfarm by goldenoakfarm@goldenoakfarm

Seeing that magnolia at the beginning, I was expecting more flowers inside the post, but it got even better! You did a nice harvest, filling up the freezer for the cold days that will come! Good job!
Hopefully, I will get out of my mortgage debt and try to acquire a small piece of land for doing some gardening... Until then, happy to help my mom in her garden when I'm on vacation... 😃

Specters: the Mysteries of the Gaze [Eng-Esp] by enraizar@enraizar

First of all, I want to say that this has been my favourite exhibition of all the ones you’ve visited, and in this museum in particular. Perhaps because the theme of perception and seeing beyond what is explicitly there really resonates with me. One artist is more amazing than another, and they all convey a profound message and meaning. I can’t say which one I liked best because there are several, but I can assure you that, taken together, they form an exhibition that goes beyond tangible reality and where one’s own emotions and experiences play a very important role.
But if I had to say one thing, I was looking at the photographs and many of them are unsettling, the sort you could weave mystery stories around.

New Platforms are Finally Being Developed on Hive But Now We Need a Userbase by blanchy@blanchy

image.png

I'm not sure that's the right way... I'm still in the camp of those who think the Splinterlands way of doing things (at its peak) was the right way... Promote the game/dapp/project, onboard people to your "thing," and have them create a HIVE account... When they enjoy your dapp, they seek more and find other things on the chain... Embracing HIVE organically...
Of course, all that needs an entrepreneurial and business approach, but just like you, I see those things slowly happening and moving in that direction... I see subscription/patreon-type of monetization, promo packs, etc... Someone will hit the target and make a bullseye... Others will follow...
It's just a matter of time... We have a good blockchain with a lot of possibilities...

Worry Stone - final result (Esp/Eng) by equipodelta@equipodelta

Your piece has turned out beautifully! I love the colours and the material you’ve used, especially as it reminds me that I used that material a lot years ago. I was taught how to use it at school, and at first I’d simply mould something like a jewellery box and varnish it, it looked great. I later made a black cat, 1 cm tall, a realistic one, and it’s exactly as you say: it can take between 24 and 48 hours to dry, depending on the thickness of the piece. I then painted it with acrylic paint and varnished it. I also made a statue of the Virgin Mary, 30 cm tall. I love modelling with my hands using that material. In Argentina, it’s called ‘arcillete’.
But it’s true what you say, knocks can break the material. It’s ideal for ornaments you place on a table, but not for anything that’s going to be moved around.

A la hora del cuento. (Esp/Eng) by marydeluz@marydeluz

image.png

This story is incredible, as it is said that mirrors are portals; others talk of suggestion and claim that if we stare at a mirror, our brain can create shapes that aren’t actually there. But when two people see the same thing, it is no longer a matter of suggestion or something imagined. Perhaps the story awakened some entity from the other plane that saw an opportunity to cross over into our world. It’s advisable never to have a mirror reflecting you whilst you’re asleep. I don’t actually know if there’s any substance to this advice, but just to be on the safe side, it’s best not to have one. I don’t know if mirrors really are portals, but I do know for certain that dark entities exist.
