Good day community
In this photographic walk I went to the 'outer part of my city, Cáceres. The limits of the new constructions, of the colonization of buildings and the extension of the new city towards the plain where it can be extended, became very evident to me from this height where I was when I took these photographs. The day was very special in this case and the sunset, with that fog and low clouds, contrasted and broke a horizon whose silhouette can be seen at the beginning of that important Iberian mountain range. I was fascinated to see the sunset and how the colors were turning from the blues of the beginning of the sunset to the yellows and oranges of the dark.
The images that I present today are not the result of chance or a fortuitous encounter, but rather they are selected on a key, indicated day. I was informing myself and I knew that this afternoon the low clouds were going to settle on the plain following the course of a small river that crosses it. The strong contrast between a future of buildings, townhouses and new streets breaks with that horizon from where the view reaches from this point where I took the photographs. A dynamic aspect and another reality of my city is evident in this series that I want to present to you today.
I have also taken advantage of my return from this area of the city and I went to photograph the back of the building where the Cáceres town hall is located, a beautiful colonial-style building. Once again a difficult choice and selection of the images that I show you today. I hope you like them, greetings.
En este paseo fotográfico me dirigí a la `parte externa de mi ciudad, Cáceres. Los limites de las nuevas construcciones, de la colonización de edificios y extensión de la nueva ciudad hacia la llanura donde puede extenderse se me hacía muy evidente desde este alto en el que me encontraba cuando realice estas fotografías. El día era muy especial en este caso y el atardecer, con esa niebla y nubes bajas contrastaba y rompía un horizonte cuya silueta se percibe en el comienzo de esa importante sierra Ibérica. Me fascinaba ver la caída del sol y como los colores se iban tornando desde los azules del principio del atardecer a los amarillos y anaranjados del oscurecer.
Las imágenes que presento hoy no son fruto de la casualidad o de un encuentro fortuito sino que son seleccionados en un día clave, indicado. Me estuve informando y sabia que esta tarde las nubes bajas se iban a depositar en la llanura siguiendo el curso de un pequeño río que la atraviesa. El fuerte contraste entre un futuro de edificaciones, de adosados y nuevas calles rompe con ese horizonte desde donde la vista alcanza desde este punto en que tome las fotografías. Un aspecto dinámico y de otra realidad de mi ciudad queda en evidencia en esta serie que hoy os quiero presentar.
He aprovechado también a mi vuelta de esta zona de la ciudad y me dirigí a fotografías la parte trasera del edificio donde se encuentra el ayuntamiento de Cáceres, un bello edificio de estilo colonial. Una vez más una difícil elección y selección de las imágenes que hoy os muestro. Espero que os gusten, un saludo.
