Talking with Chelma is always a privilege. This time we spent a delightful afternoon talking about life, work and a lot of other things.
She told me about her adventures during the years she worked for the International Red Cross, then when she decided to give another direction to her life and become a Certified Broadcaster to create her own radio program. We talked about her children, two young university students who today live in other countries making their own lives.
Chelma and I really enjoyed talking about photography, she is an enthusiast even if she doesn't recognize it. I really liked the dress she was wearing and I asked her about it and she told me it was her grandmother's and is very special to her.
I was touched by the whole story she told me about her grandmother and that dress, how important it is to her and how special it makes her feel when she wears it. So I asked her to come to the window and stand in front of the sun rays to take these pictures.
I loved the result of these photos.
This is my submission to the #monomad, December 18th...
