Here's just a short story to spice up your evening!!
He clinched both arms into big fists. Jay wasn't moved by the sight for he only thought of Stan as a big fat bully.
It was a hamlet, situated at a river bank. Its inhabitants were mostly farmers ,livestock keepers and fishers.
Never did they record a significant plague until the arrival of Stan.
He called the hamlet his coast and terrorised the good people of this small village.
He had their livestock and harvest at his disposal, going door to door seeking his plunder.
He socks you where it hurts if you pose any resistance.
He inspired fear, the young ones knew better.
He would rarely respond to greetings but made a lot of fuss when he doesn't get it.
They sought to get rid of him but the dangers of thinking such thoughts scared everyone.
A menace he was, a bully, a sinister character, a plague, for he fitted the description perfectly.
Jay arrived at the hamlet. A Heavily built man as Stan, broad shoulders and all, the villagers eyed him suspiciously. With too much already on their plate, they thought it wise to leave it at that.
Stan felt the same way about the new presence in the village. He would pick on Jay every now and then, failing to start a fight.
Many times he walked into jay and snatched his lunch.
Jay would give anything to go unnoticed in the village, but Stan had his way of calling him out. Several times he had hindered Stan from doing harm to the villagers, which earned him a punch on the face.
The villagers clung more to Jay, which somewhat infuriated Stan. They encouraged him to take on this plague and possibly end his reign. But Jay wouldn't harken.
However Stan had it coming, and there was no suitable match for him other than Jay.
That breezy evening, as usual, Stan went about collecting his plunder. He found Jay smoking fish and as his manner was, snatched the fish and dealt jay a heavy blow before he could say a word.
Jay was red with fury alright. He rose to his feet, dealing Stan a good uppercut simultaneously.
Now both men were full of fight, and were ready to express themselves violently.
Stan feinted over and over, while Jay calmly observed him, on spotting a good opening, he landed a good one. It made Stan move a step backwards. He wasn't going to let one lucky blow put him down. The feinting was obviously nonproductive. He went in and caught jay with a right on the rib, which did hurt as it was supposed to.
Attempting to score another point, he let fly a quick punch but Jay moved and he missed. Exposing his lower body, Jay scored two quick ones and a devastating jaw breaker.
Stan was now down and queasy, knowing fully well that he didn't stand a chance, he blacked out.
How long he would stay down, I don't know. But he will certainly leave the villagers in alone.
