Hello everyone, I'm glad to be sharing my first #kiss blog with you today and I'll be sharing the little ways I reset.
How do you identify that a reset is needed? What are some of your favorite places to go reset, and what are some of your favorite places to go for self care?
To me, reset is blocking out the stress and negativities and ushering in the freshness of life.
I feel the need to reset when I start getting angry unnecessarily, picking fights with my curtains or bedsheet (Lol), overthinking and losing sleep (insomnia).
My favorite place to reset is the swimming pool and although I can't swim, I just love being in water, I can't explain the undying love I have for water or the feeling I get whenever I'm staring at a large body of water.
Another place I go to reset is the road.
Yes! the road 😅
whenever I feel the need to reset, I take a stroll to the calm part of the community, sometimes I find a place to sit and watch the rest of the world. One time I found a very clean and quiet road, I laid on the ground with my friend and we stayed there for a while watching the clear sky and mentioning things we're letting go of.
Working out is a great way to loosen up and it's also part of my "self care" routine.
After thirty or forty five minutes of workouts I feel whole again.

When I'm done with either exercise, swimming or strolling, I immediately take my bath and look for snacks to munch on.
