Today is a happy day for little Faiz in his father's lap. He got a new house in place of a broken house. Abdur Rahim, a religious teacher at a private school in Gobindapur village of Jumarbari union in Saghata upazila of Gaibandha. He built the future of students in the school during the day, but his own future was under a dilapidated house.
He had only 4 hundred acres of land inherited from his ancestors, and a broken house on it. The condition of the fence and the roof was so pitiful that even with a little rain, he had to get wet with his 8-month-old baby and his wife. Since it was a river area, the house would sink up to his knees in the monsoon. This lonely teacher could not afford to repair the house after eating two meals a day in a family of poverty.
Alhamdulillah! Abdur Rahim's inhuman life came to the attention of the As-Sunnah Foundation's house-building project. The foundation has built a strong and beautiful new tin house on his broken land.
Now there is no more worry about rain, no more fear of getting wet. A teacher's face is filled with a smile of satisfaction.
