The Path

The sweet smell

of crushed grasses
emanates from the ground
Bringing on a nostalgia
for warm spring days
when time was irrelevant
and we were seekers
of adventure

But those spring days

are fading beneath our steps

and the path before us is changing

So...

Are you ready for a new adventure?
