MY LIFE
So everywhere I turn, I see a different face,
But the stage is mine to shine.
Flash me a light, I'd pick a spot and be fine.
Fine enough to carve my own niche,
And make it a bedrock for others to reach.
Even when we don't see eye to eye
Life should be good for you and I.
I have a voice to be heard,
After the pains and tears I've shed.
I know how life and I have wrestled,
But we've finally settled.
Whatever I give,
I still receive.
